TJoey Negro’s alter ego Akabu gets remixed by the massive Skylark, AKA Nic Fanciulli. ‘Don’t Hold Back’ has been buzzing for months, clocking up massive support on Radio 1 as well as on the house circuit. These new mixes from the hotly tipped Skylark have been in huge demand since Pete Tong heavily championed them on his Essential Mix.

Skylark AKA Nic Fanciulli is a rising star on the dance scene, with remixes for Deep Dish, DJ Pierre, Tears For Fears and Paul Woolford already under his belt, and a DJ career that would have a lot of the older pros weeping! Fanciulli has also been named as one of the new resident house DJs on Radio 1.

The Skylark mix of ‘Don’t Hold Back’ has a simple but effective old school feel to it. Driving beats, a heavy sub bass and Todd Terry-esque stabs make this remix a winner. A Dub Mix on the flip borrows Mantronik style beats and heads straight for a heads down workout.
