Miguel Migs presents the first in a series of three 12”s for NRK this Spring. Miguel’s ‘City Sound Project’ series takes its inspiration from the unique atmospheres of some of the globe’s most influential cities, and the places where Miguel enjoys rapturous response to his DJ sets.
City Sound Project 1 (Barcelona) kicks off the series and catches Migs in particularly funky mode with the track “One-Two-One-Two”. Tight percussion as always from the Naked Music house don, with some slight edgy electro twists along the way. “Don’t Stand There” on the flip is a somewhat deeper excursion with some hypnotic chords and meaty bass weaving its way around some crunchy drums.
City Sound Project 2 will surface soon, ready for an April 2004 release
