Joey Negro revives his Akabu project for another deep house outing on NRK. You may have heard about this one already, bubbling under in all the hype and buzz charts, a little help from Tong on Radio 1 and support from Seamus Haji and Danny Rampling.
To quote Haji’s recent Update review, “Remember the Jungle Wonz from the late 80’s and it’s very much in that sort of retro Chicago house vein with a rolling Marshall Jefferson style bassline and atmospheric pads. We should have a Mood House revival!”
