May 2005 hotmix - Nick Holder

Nick Holder has been notching up the very best in deep house productions since the early 90’s. Through early releases on seminal labels Hi-Bias and Strobe Records, Holder has developed his deep, deep sound through over 100 releases on his DNH label. Nick's recording work spans the house sounds through to disco loops, jazzy vibes, heavy dub riddims and the minimal Chicago style, and his work has found their way into the record boxes of such DJ luminaries as Deep Dish, Andrew Weatherall, Nick Warren, Junior Vasquez and DJ Sneak. His albums for NRK have spawned big underground singles such as ‘Summer Daze’, ‘No More Dating DJs’ and ‘Da Sambafrique’ and his constant DJ schedule has made him a favourite jock in the more discerning (and deeper) clubs. This new Hotmix from Holder features deep tribal rhythms, soulful house and jazzy elements and is the perfect audio accompaniment to a lazy Summer’s evening…..

April 2005 hotmix - Louis Osbourne

Louis Osbourne has been spinning his own style of tech-house and techno for 11 odd years now. Louis currently DJs all around the world and has concentrated largely on stints in America and big festival appearances. His ay Hotmix for NRK encapsulates his current DJ style; plenty of telectro house bombs, renowned acts such as DJ Hell, Mike Monday and the wonderful Matthew Johnson, Louis’ set is full of funk but not for the faint hearted!
