Peter Presta & Little Carlos – O’Rox Disko
Peter Presta is one of those names that has probably adorned your record crate a few times over the last few years but you’ve never been quite able to put your finger on it. So a quick refresher; Presta has racked up more records than you can shake a stick at for labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Emotive, Star 69, Cutting, King St, Kaos (the list goes on!).
On his first for Honchos, Presta teams up with Little Carlos for a simple yet highly effective heavyweight disco groove track. Some well timed drop outs, driving drums, a beefed up bassline and a looping disco sample make this one of those tracks that has the potential to go off anyplace, anytime, anywhere! A darker, tribal drum mix appears on the flip that’s already been roadtested by Tenaglia and Calderone.
